Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate and a television host at MSNBC, a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. In May 2021, Ball and Enjeti announced that they would be leaving the show in order to start their own project called Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a co-host alongside Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has been featured on network programs such as CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time alongside Bill Maher. As of the year 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball says that her renewed fascination with politics due to her experience as a mom in the 2008 primaries. Furthermore, she was a witness to the US presidential election in 2008 while working in Jordan. She was able to see the effect the election had on the people in her country and was moved to see the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was chosen by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1stCongressional District in the election of 2010. However, she lost to Rob Wittman. She was the host of The Cycle, a MSNBC television show that she co-hosted from June 2012 through August 2015. She was co-hosting The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 through July 2015.
