Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born on March 4th, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress, comedian, and writer. O'Hara is the recipient of a number of distinctions which include an award called a Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and six Canadian Screen Awards. She was made an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara's first recognition as an actress while she was a member the The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. Dan Aykroyd and John Candy were also in her main cast on the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). The following year, O'Hara and Candy began work in the sketch comedy show Second City Television (1976-1984) and she earned praise from critics for her work as a comedic actress as well as a writer. She was awarded an award called the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for an Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara was appointed to the Second City artistic advisory panel in 2022 by Stephen Colbert.
